The ADLINK NuPRO-842LV/P is a full-size PICMG 1.0 Single Board Computer (SBC) designed for industrial and embedded computing applications requiring PCI/ISA passive-backplane expansion. Socket 478 Intel Processor Platform

The ADLINK NuPRO-842LV/P uses a Socket 478 processor platform with the Intel 845GV chipset. The board supports Intel Pentium 4 processors with 400 MHz and 533 MHz front-side-bus operation, including Hyper-Threading capable processors where supported.

The NuPRO-842/P platform also supports selected Intel Celeron and low-power Pentium 4-M processor configurations. The exact processor installed on an existing board should be verified before replacement.

Intel 845GV + ICH4 Chipset

The NuPRO-842LV/P combines the Intel 845GV Graphics and Memory Controller Hub with the Intel ICH4 I/O Controller Hub. This platform provides the processor, DDR memory, integrated graphics, PCI, USB, IDE and legacy I/O functionality required by the board.

DDR Memory

Two 184-pin DIMM sockets support unbuffered non-ECC DDR-200 and DDR-266 SDRAM with a maximum system-memory capacity of up to 2 GB.

Integrated VGA Graphics

The Intel 845GV chipset provides integrated 2D/3D graphics using up to 64 MB of shared system memory. A standard D-sub VGA connector provides analog display output.

A DVO interface is also provided for optional digital-display expansion using compatible LVDS or DVI hardware.

Gigabit Ethernet – LV/P Configuration

Hardware Monitoring and Watchdog

Integrated hardware monitoring provides CPU temperature, system temperature, fan-speed and voltage monitoring. A programmable watchdog timer can initiate a system reset if application software becomes unresponsive.
