The RadiSys JD2G03-0-0 is the dual-Gigabit-Ethernet configuration of the RadiSys Endura JD35Q long-life industrial ATX motherboard. Based on the Intel Q35 Express chipset with Intel ICH9DO, the board provides an LGA775 processor socket for compatible Intel Core 2 Duo, Core 2 Quad and Celeron processors.
The JD2G03-0-0 combines up to 8GB of dual-channel DDR2 memory, integrated Intel GMA 3100 graphics, dual Gigabit Ethernet, SATA storage with RAID, USB 2.0, PCI Express, four conventional PCI slots, watchdog timer and 13-bit GPIO in a standard ATX form factor.
The RadiSys JD2G03-0-0 uses the Intel Q35 Express chipset with Intel ICH9DO and an LGA775 processor socket. The platform supports compatible Intel Core 2 Duo, Core 2 Quad and Celeron processors with 800MHz, 1066MHz and 1333MHz front-side bus configurations.
Documented embedded processor configurations include the Intel Core 2 Duo E6400, Core 2 Duo E4300, Pentium Dual-Core E2160 and Celeron 440. Additional processor compatibility depends on the applicable RadiSys processor-support list and BIOS revision.
Four DIMM sockets support up to 8GB of unbuffered non-ECC DDR2 system memory. The motherboard supports DDR2-667 and DDR2-800 memory with dual-channel operation.
Integrated Intel Graphics Media Accelerator 3100 graphics provide onboard VGA display capability with resolutions up to 2048 x 1536 at 75Hz and 32-bit color.
A PCI Express x16 graphics slot is also available for applications requiring a discrete graphics adapter.
The JD2G03-0-0 is specifically the dual-Gigabit-Ethernet version of the JD35Q platform.
The primary Ethernet interface uses the integrated chipset MAC with an Intel 82566DM PHY. A second Gigabit Ethernet interface is provided using an Intel 82573L controller.
The JD35Q provides a useful combination of PCI Express and conventional PCI expansion for industrial systems.
This expansion architecture makes the JD2G03-0-0 particularly useful for maintaining industrial systems that depend on legacy PCI data-acquisition, communication, motion-control or other specialized expansion cards.
The Intel ICH9DO storage subsystem provides six SATA 3Gb/s interfaces with support for RAID 0, RAID 1, RAID 5 and RAID 10.
An Ultra ATA/100 interface is also provided for compatible legacy Parallel ATA storage devices.
The JD35Q platform supports twelve USB 2.0 ports, including rear-panel, onboard and internal-header connections.
Two RS-232 serial interfaces and an internal parallel-port header provide additional connectivity for industrial peripherals and legacy equipment.
A key distinction of the JD2G03-0-0 configuration is the inclusion of a watchdog timer and 13-bit GPIO interface in addition to dual Gigabit Ethernet.
These features make the dual-LAN version particularly suitable for embedded control, industrial automation and unattended computing applications.
These ordering numbers should be retained when sourcing an exact replacement because the networking and system-management configuration differs between the two versions.
The RadiSys JD2G03-0-0 Endura JD35Q is suitable for industrial automation, machine control, medical equipment, imaging systems, manufacturing equipment, test and measurement systems and other long-life applications requiring an LGA775 industrial ATX motherboard with conventional PCI expansion.
Embedded CPU Boards supports the RadiSys JD2G03-0-0 Endura JD35Q for sourcing, replacement, repair, testing and legacy-system lifecycle support. Availability may include new-old-stock, surplus, refurbished or professionally tested units depending on current inventory.
